i think you have a neat idea with controlling multiple characters at a time but it's a bit clunky and the boss patterns aren't very intuitive or rewarding to understand. i'd recommend giving each character a different function in terms of control and base the gameplay around knowing when and how to use each character, almost like a weird translation of chess into a run and gun platformer. what you have here so far is cool regardless and i'd like to see it expanded upon, nice job.
